About the event
While research has been done, and continues to be done, to understand the unique needs of those with religious trauma this presentation looks at the experiental reports of those who have taken a religious trauma group psychotherapy experience. In this presentation we will cover:
- Themes individuals across the groups report regarding their experience
- Challenges of running a group, as well as discussing group formats that worked, and those that didn't.
- Opporunities that are unique to group work in those with religious trauma, and how members of those groups continue to report the positive implications of the group they attended.
In addition to these we will also have time at the end to answer questions individuals may have about starting their own group!
